Water Puddles!

Hi,
We were out & about yesterday and today so I'm sharing pictures with you and something that I want to know your opinions about.

Yes, you can try them and you look beautiful :)

Here's what happened. I love PAHMs as you know and I've listened to their advice saying that we are supposed to let kids play in the water puddles, mud, whatever fun we encounter on the way so I tried to forget all about the mess, the cleaning and just let Sarah play in this muddy water puddle if she wanted to and she did. She jumped so high over and over splashing water everywhere. She was laughing and very happy. I kept repeating to myself that I'll find a way to clean that dress, LOL! A woman was passing by us and as you know, New Yorkers can't keep their thoughts to themselves ;), so she screamed out loud and said, "That's is so FILTHY mama." You don't know me in real life, I'm usually a very shy person but after looking at how happy Sarah was, I told her it was OK! She shook her head in disbelief and left, lol. I think she was about to faint or call cops ;) What would you have done if you saw us in the street? Look at the pictures first and tell me your honest thoughts!

Yes, you can jump in this muddy water puddle!

and YES, you can practice playing with your scooter outside!

I know a lot of people including my own dad criticize me for letting Sarah try such things or experiment with fire but I'm always there, a few centimeters away! How is she supposed to learn that fire is hot and burns? From books? NO! Not for us! I will test everything I can with my girls and I will force myself to do things I would have never done myself before just to show them and let them have all the fun they want.
Thank you for joining us, come back soon!
Love,

  1. I always let my daughter jump in puddles, but I do usually insist she wear her boots and rainpants for it. Of course she freaks out if her shoes or feet get wet or dirty. Thank you for sharing at Sharing Saturday! I hope you are having a great week!

    1. If I was in Egypt when I let Sarah do this, "filthy" would be the least I would hear and the most passionate one, lol! Thank you Carrie :)
