Hi,
No Science kits this week but for some reason, I consider this Science although you might not agree. I bought some capsules for 10 L.E. These capsules are supposed to grow in water to foam farm animals. It was a chance for us to get to know these animals. We brought the cups, bottled water and began. Here are our observations:
Ready Mama?!!
Water on the carpet, no big deal!
Waiting to see what possibly could happen.
Blowing, maybe it works that way!
Smelling (there was some tasting to which I said no, don't hate me but I'm not very sure if it was safe material or not).
Turned out that we added cold water which wouldn't work so we replaced it with warm water and guess what?!
Yay, some things are growing!
If you were paying close attention, you'd have realized that these capsules were supposed to grow into farm animals BUT I can see a frog, dinosaur, elephant. Now, are these farm animals?
It would be very interesting to see a dinosaur on a farm, lol!
Playing!
We'll do some coin sorting later today and if I got my sand today, tomorrow we'll have an outstanding sensory bin ;)
Thank you for reading.
Love,
LOL about the dinosaur!
ReplyDeleteOh, I have these too. We'll probably do them soon. I'm wondering if they wouldn't be fun to paint with since they're basically sponges, right?
ReplyDeleteYes, Laina. They are sponges. I think painting with them would be a great idea and so much fun like stamping. Even if it wasn't perfect but at least, it would be fun. I think we'll borrow your idea if you don't mind :)
DeleteThis is cool! We love experimenting too!
ReplyDeleteNew follower here from the TGIF Linky :)
Welcome, hope you love sharing our trials and errors :)
DeleteThis is my first visit, stopping by from TGIF Linky Party. My 4 1/2 y.o. daughter got these for Christmas. She LOVED them and was running back and forth every minute or so to see if the animals had "hatched" or "grown" yet. She was so excited. I say definitely science. Since I had done them before I knew about the warm water trick. We did them all in one bowl. Next time I'll try the clear separate cups, I really liked that idea. Feel free to visit us at 1mommysjourney.weebly.com
ReplyDeleteThank you for sopping by:) I love your site and would like to add it to my favourite lists if you don't mind :) Did you get a dinoasaur too ?
DeleteWhat fun!! I love those capsule things for some quick, inepensive (little clean-up) FUN! Thanks for linking up to TGIF! Have a GREAT weekend,
ReplyDeleteBeth =-)
